Trailer and refrigeration truck manufacturers are working together to create trailers that are lighter and stronger so that they can haul heavier loads (due to the decreased weight of the haulers).
Many aspects of truck and trailer maintenance is the same as it is for passenger cars. Regular washings, oil changes, and routine tire and brake checks are a few examples. However, besides being larger vehicles there are also some differences in the mechanics that have to be accounted for and maintained as well.
